DIO565 Two Channel Version

The model DIO565 2CH is a two-channel ultrasonic flaw detector for manual field inspection as well as for automated scanning. Its use is suited for testing using two independent channels at the same time. There are two independent receivers, two transmitters; the display is divided in two channels (parts); the gate display: two gates in the first (second) channel. The pitch of tone is distinguishing the gates.

Rail Tester
For simple manual rail inspection the DIO565 is being used with a combined probe.
A-scans of the both channels together with the appropriate gates are simultaneously displayed on the screen. As example the application for rail inspection with a combined probe is shown in right figure.
Another example of usage is the testing of hollow railway vehicle axles with boring diameter from 30 to 80 mm.

DIO565-2CH Tester of Hollow Rail Vehicle Axles
The axle testing assembly is equipped with a probe head fastened on bar provided with a scale.
There is a handle and the DIO565 connector at the one end of the assembly bar. At the other end, the probe head is positioned, that may be skewed by means of a cardan joint. The assembly bar is equipped with a scale indicating the probe head position.
The probe head is interchangeable to enable use of different probe angles from 45° to 70° (2 MHz), depending on a diameter of the inside boring.
The signals of the both channels are displayed simultaneously on the DIO565 two channel version.
